The updated Whakatā Puffy in Fall Foliage camp shoe has a new engineered knit upper that is not only more comfortable, but the new cuff hugs your ankles for a better fit. They’re a perfect companion for a hut trip, camping in the wilderness, or chilling out around the house. 

Oboz consulted and got approval from the Māori language and culture guide at Oboz’s New Zealand-based parent company, KMD Brands, for use of the name. Oboz intends to honor the Māori culture in the best way—both within KMD Brands’ company walls and in the broader community.

We use our own gender-specific lasts to address the anatomical nuances between different types of feet. Length runs true to size. Form hugging heel cup, sculpted mid-foot, and a generous forefoot & toe box.

Rates

We currently offer Standard shipping (4-7 business days) and Express shipping (2-3 business days). Our preferred shipping carrier is FedEx. We currently only offer shipping to the USA. No international shipping.

Orders outside of the contiguous United States will ship Standard only at an increased shipping rate.

Please allow up to 2 days after order is confirmed to receive shipping confirmation with tracking info. Unfortunately, we do not ship orders on weekends so orders made after 12pm MT on Fridays will ship out on the following Tuesday along with orders made over the weekend.

The second option is express shipping from FedEx. With that said, some shipping carriers are experiencing delays, causing shipments to reach their destination outside their original or expected timeframe. "Between my wife and myself, we have seven pairs of Obozs and we love them all but the Puffy’s have a hard arch and a non-removable insole that didn’t work for either of us; the arch in the insole did not align with the arches in our feet and it was kinda painful to wear them."

Sizing off

"I have other oboz shoes and have ordered them in my normal size 9 and they fit great. I wear them all day without any discomfort. I was excited to get these shoes as I had wanted a pair for awhile. When I ordered these in a 9, I wasn't able to wear them as my toes were squished up against the front of the shoe. Unfortunately oboz does not offer exchanges. I'm not sure they would fit anyway as I have never ever had to wear a size 10. Sizing seems to be off on these shoes."

Stellar Swiss Army Shoe

"I sought footwear for errands, running out to the garage, having a bourbon, and looking cool since I am not. The Whakata does it all. They are surprisingly comfortable (size down if in-between) and are super easy on and off. I opted for the orange (for coolness) and they are a classy shade. I’ve worn them to walk my dog and my feet felt great even after a few miles. Big plus- they are very warm (my lowest test was 15’ F. ) The sole is firm, so driving in them is very stable. My cat has tried to scratch them multiple times, but the upper is a tight knit, and her little claws don’t leave any marks. There are many quilted options at this price point. But these little beauties check all the boxes including the cool box and especially the sustainability box. There was no bourbon box, but they would check that one too."
