Carol Kennedy is a retired elementary and special education teacher living in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is devoted to helping differently abled people enjoy the outdoors. She has been for many years a Volunteer Ski Instructor for the National Sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park, Colorado. She is the chair of the Poudre Wilderness Volunteers committee, Trails for ALL. The committee’s mission is to increase diversity on the trails. She also volunteers for various agencies in the Fort Collins area which serve individuals with disabilities. She is working to connect these agencies in joint efforts to include differently abled people in outdoor activities. Carol enjoys fiber arts and contributes some of her creations such as hats and blankets to nonprofits in her town.
