Thanks for reaching out to Oboz. The Bozeman Low Leather is not a waterproof shoe, but it does come with a factory DWR coating to help water repel off the upper. There is no treatment necessary before the shoe is worn. If you want to re-apply a waterproofing coating, we recommend the Nikwax nubuck and suede waterproofing product.
