The Katabatic Wind trail shoes are our most technically advanced footwear yet. The next generation of Oboz Fast Trail hiking shoes feature the Inertia of Motion (IOM) System made up of ACTNitro dual-density super critical foam and a forefoot carbon plate that work together to propel each step so you can go faster and further. Prioritizing weight and technical performance, the Katabatic Wind trail shoe is for fastpackers who count ounces and Fastest Known Times (FKT).

We use our own gender-specific lasts to address the anatomical nuances between different types of feet. Length runs true to size. Form hugging heel cup, sculpted mid-foot, and a generous forefoot & toe box.

Rates

We currently offer Standard shipping (4-7 business days) and Express shipping (1-2 business days). Our preferred shipping carrier is FedEx. We currently only offer shipping to the USA. No international shipping.

Orders outside of the contiguous United States will ship Standard only at an increased shipping rate.

Please allow up to 2 days after order is confirmed to receive shipping confirmation with tracking info. Unfortunately, we do not ship orders on weekends so orders made after 12pm MT on Fridays will ship out on the following Tuesday along with orders made over the weekend.

We currently offer two shipping options. The first option is standard ground shipping from FedEx. This shipping service typically takes between 5-9 business days from when the order is placed to when it is delivered to your address. The second option is express shipping from FedEx. This shipping service typically takes between 2-4 business days from when the order is placed to when it is delivered to your address. With that said, some shipping carriers are experiencing delays, causing shipments to reach their destination outside their original or expected timeframe. Please follow your tracking number for details on your order.
