Oboz Team
Here at Oboz, we are hikers, anglers, runners, foragers, skiers, hunters, knitters, bikers, guitar players, dog-walkers, and fun-chasers. We are different, but we have a collective love of the trail that enables us to create hiking boots and footwear that’s always worthy of the task at hand.
- Born a Hoosier but has called the Rockies home for the last 15+ years
- Conservation Alliance board member and outdoor enthusiast who loves animals, yoga, skiing, biking, hiking...and lots of live music.
- A passionate traveler: Africa holds a special place in her heart.

- Despite the last name and bird dog, has never hunted.
- University of Florida track & field alum. Go Gators!
- Prefers driving for days over flying for a few hours.
- Skied semi-pro on the East Coast before discovering Montana's "cold smoke" powder; easier on the knees.

- Excels at the 100-yard dash. Particularly when chased by a bison.
- Traded the thrill of skydiving for the (slightly safer/cheaper) rush of rockhounding.
- According to the two men in her life (Maximillian I and II), builds a mean Lego spaceship.
- Family calls him Corey, but you can call him Baggins on the trail.
- AT, PCT, CDT...check, check and check. Hiker Trash for life.
- Considers M&Ms the best snack even if they're in the dirt, thanks to their protective candy shell.
- Once quit her job to backpack for 3 years across multiple countries. Now that is True to the Trail.
- Loves ANY outdoor activity… except for skiing.
- Ululu, Australia is her favorite. Stars from horizon to horizon.
- Likes Bryce National Park so much his kid is named after it. He highly recommends a visit if you can.
- As a teacher he took students all over the country hiking. Now he gets to travel all over and teach about hiking footwear.
- Loves to get people connected to the outdoors. Just ask and he’ll try to help you.
- It all started with an internship in Glacier National Park…he never looked back; MT is home.

- …can only swim just well enough to not need a Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer.

- Born and raised by the ocean, but is excited for all that the mountains have to offer.
- Find me out on the courts at lunch! Tennis and pickleball are a favorite pastime.

- I love to try and play any sport, but only hockey, hiking, and the occasional trail run have stuck.

- Mountain bikes: not a hobby, a personality trait. If there’s a trail, I’m on it. If there’s not a trail, I’m wondering why.

- Favorite outdoor memory is fly fishing with her husband in the Italian Alps, but Glacier will always feel like home.
