Made from 100% recycled polyester, and 100% recycled plastic for the aglet, Oboz’s proprietary Flat Shoelaces are offered in five sizes to best fit your shoe needs. The aglet in all sizes is 3mm in diameter. These flat laces will instantly give your shoes a fresh, classic look. The main benefit of using Flat Shoelaces is ease of tying and ability to stay tied. But to ensure they stay tied during the length of your adventure, consider tying a double knot.

Delivery

Rates

We currently offer Standard shipping (4-7 business days) and Express shipping (2-3 business days). Our preferred shipping carrier is FedEx. We currently only offer shipping to the USA. No international shipping.

Orders outside of the contiguous United States will ship Standard only at an increased shipping rate.

order processing

Please allow up to 2 days after order is confirmed to receive shipping confirmation with tracking info. Unfortunately, we do not ship orders on weekends so orders made after 12pm MT on Fridays will ship out on the following Tuesday along with orders made over the weekend.

This shipping service typically takes between 4-7 business days from when the order is processed at our warehouse to when it is delivered to your address. The second option is express shipping from FedEx. This shipping service typically takes between 2-3 business days from when the order is processed at our warehouse to when it is delivered to your address. With that said, some shipping carriers are experiencing delays, causing shipments to reach their destination outside their original or expected timeframe. Please follow your tracking number for details on your order.

Not the same as the laces that used to come with their boots

"I wanted to replace the laces that came with my Oboz boots when I bought them about 4 years ago. The old ones were highly textured and had these ridges on them that kept the laces from coming untied. The ones I received were just basic flat laces that you can buy in any sporting goods store. They come untied pretty easily same as most laces—no better, no worse."

Flat Shoelaces solve a problem

"This is my 4th or 5th pair of Firebrand II shoes, they provide support with comfort, and fit me perfectly I could almost wear them without shoelaces which is fortunate because the round laces will not stay tied! I’ve tried the shoe tying knot from the Oboz demonstration video, a variety of knots I’ve tried, I swear you can watch the knots untie themselves. The flat laces solve the problem a simple bow knot stays tied. Undoubtably the round shoe laces that come standard are stronger and last longer, but the constant retying in the field is tedious."
