Name: Samantha Brady
Hometown: Gorham, New Hampshire
Where I’ve Been: After my first year at the Mount Washington Observatory in 2012, I decided to make New Hampshire home. I joined the Androscoggin Valley Search and Rescue Team and am an avid hiker, skier, mountaineer, and outdoor enthusiast.
Why I Hike: I love mountains and going far and fast. The best hike I ever did was my single-day Pemi loop. I hiked just over 30 miles in 13.5 hours. With an elevation gain of 12,000 vertical feet.
Lead The Way: At the Mount Washington Observatory we operate in the toughest conditions in the lower 48. It’s exhilarating.
