Oboz Review: Crest Mid

Back to Gear Reviews

Since the beginning of March, I’ve worn the Crest Mid every day in my work as a fishmonger. I work in a cold environment and am on my feet most of the day. My initial impressions of the Crest Mid are that it is a comfortable boot that fits right out of the box. Since day one, I have not had any issues with foot fatigue or soreness.INSOLE Crest Mid

The Crest Mid BDry is a  new model for Oboz and is one of the most versatile boots. It’s lightweight, breathable, and waterproof, and I use it in my daily work and for hiking. The Crest Mid is a great choice for basically any activity that has you standing on your feet a lot, and it comes with a terrific speed lacing system, rugged outsoles, and the durability I’ve come to expect from Oboz.TOP Crest MidMade entirely of synthetic materials, this is a stable and durable boot that looks great. It dries quickly and is extremely comfortable. The speed lacing system prevents heel slippage and keeps my foot in place without pinching. The heel is thick and absorbs a lot of shock while on trail, while the sole has great traction. Ever since I discovered Oboz, I’ve been a fan of the O-Fit system, which creates the feel of a customized fit right outside of the box. All in all, this is among my favorite Oboz.
