Last year we were delighted and honored to see them celebrate our iconic Sawtooth II Low, praising its “friendly insectoid mesh ventilation peekaboo cutouts,” “chunkily undulating sole,” and “pleasing overall sense of OVOID BULBOUSNESS.” 

We got in touch to let them know that the admiration was mutual — several of us are longtime subscribers. One thing led to another, and before we knew it, we were collaborating on a special Spyplane edition of the Sawtooth II Low: an edition cut from elevated materials in a beautifully unexpected color combination. The result is a shoe that can handle the most technically demanding trails, and the most aesthetically discerning city streets.
