Oboz x Continental Divide

In 2022, Oboz employees will continue its company-wide hike of the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) with the goal of completing all 800 miles of our home state, Montana.

Along the way, we will capture stories and pictures from the trail. Be sure to follow #obozcdt on the socials for live, or close-to-live, updates. After all, cell coverage is spotty in Big Sky Country wilderness.

Follow Mr. Fabulous on the CDT

Ten years after completing his Appalachian Trail thru-hike, @dericklugo (trail name: Mr. Fabulous) is back at it on the Continental Divide Trail! As Derick takes on the entire trail this spring/summer, the Oboz Footwear crew will be trekking the Montana section of the trail in the second year of the Oboz x CDT project.

"Peace, Love and All That Good Stuff!" See more from Derick's thru-hike this summer on Instagram

What's on your feet, Mr. Fabulous? Sawtooth X, of course.

"I’ve hiked nearly 500 miles of the Continental Divide Trail, through the hot desert, 249 river crossings, and my Sawtooth X are still hangin’ strong. We all know that new hiking shoes need break-in time…however, my new Sawtooth X were ready to go the moment I put them on, which blew my mind! That was my experience, and I’m currently hiking an average of 15-20 miles a day."
