Roxanne is a 70 years young trail runner and previous FKT holder of the Mason Dixon Trail. She is on the trail almost daily making sure our experience on the MDT is safe and enjoyable.

- Michelle Cook | An Appalachian Trail Ambassador

"As I get older, I am slowing down but will never stop."

Beginning when she was 40, Roxanne fell in love with trail running and has completed numerous trails in Pennsylvania. As her love for the trails grew, she wanted to give back and began doing trail work - and became a maintainer - on a few sections of the Mason-Dixon Trail near her home.

In 2021, Roxanne and a friend completed the Mason-Dixon Trail (201 miles) in just five days, 13 hours, and 20 minutes making them the Fastest Known Supported Time (FKT).

Every full moon, Roxanne gathers with friends to run/hike along a segment of the Mason-Dixon Trail. Her next adventure is the Mason-Dixon Shortest Day, a 27-mile challenge completed from sunrise to sunset.

Roxanne shares: "As I get older, I am slowing down but will never stop."
